Heart Shaped Hole collects fourteen portraits of the stray dogs of Palermo. She returned to the city in the summer of 2008, two years after completing a series of local racehorse portraits at the hippodrome, which were featured, along with a selection made at Paris in the publication ‘Palermo 7′.
